Blomeyer & Sanz conducted an evaluation of INTERPOL’s FLYWAY III project, which aimed to enhance the capabilities of the law enforcement agencies in protecting vulnerable communities in North Africa and the Sahel region. The evaluation assessed the results of the project activities, using the OECD DAC criteria of relevance, coherence, effectiveness, efficiency, impact and sustainability. Additionally, it considered the criteria of exportability and quality of processes. Furthermore, the evaluation provided insights into the lessons learnt and recommendations for future similar initiatives. The evaluation utilised desk review, key stakeholder interviews and an online survey as the principal data collection methods.
