From April 2020 to January 2024 Blomeyer & Sanz has conducted a monitoring on the impact of the European Institute for Gender Equality (EIGE)’s inputs in policy-making. EIGE aims to contribute to and strengthen the promotion of gender equality, including gender mainstreaming in all EU policies and the resulting national policies, and the fight against discrimination based on sex, as well as to raise EU citizens’ awareness of gender equality by providing technical assistance to the European Commission and to the Member States. The monitoring has focused on measuring EIGE’s impact in EU-wide policy-making organisations and on how the organisations are using EIGE’s outputs during the period 2020-2023.
