blomeyer & sanz is assisting the European Parliament under the FWC for provision of external expertise services in the fields of impact assessment and European added value (Lot n 3: Environment, public health, food safety, employment and social affairs). The contract covers the period 2014-2018.
Moreover, in the area of public health, our company is currently carrying out of the external evaluation of the EU financed project AFE-INNOVNET (2014-2016). The overarching goal of the project is to set up a large EU wide community of local and regional authorities and other relevant stakeholders across the EU who want to work together to find smart and innovative evidence based solutions to support active and healthy ageing and develop age-friendly environments (AFE) across the EU. The project leader is AGE Platform Europe(pro-bono service).
In 2015 blomeyer&sanzconducted the externalevaluation of the EuropeanHeart Network (EHN), a Brussels-basedalliance of heartfoundations and likeminded non-governmental organisations throughoutEurope, playing a leading role in the prevention and reduction of cardiovascular diseases.
In 2014 the firm carried out the external evaluation of the European COPD Coalition (ECC). The ECC is a not-for-profit association committed to raising awareness about Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Diseases (COPD). blomeyer & sanz assisted the ECC to conduct a mid-term evaluation of its three-year Strategic Plan 2013-2016.
