Blomeyer & Sanz has conducted an evaluation of the Red Noses International’s Children with Disabilities Program implemented in seven countries, namely Austria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Lithuania, Slovakia and Slovenia. The evaluation’s objectives consisted of (1) presenting an accurate picture of the needs and opportunities faced by disabled children in the countries in question; (2) examining the impact to date of the programme focusing on both, short-term and long-term sustainable benefits; (3) establishing a baseline against which the next phase of the programme will be compared as a measure of its impact. In terms of methodology, desk research, document review, interviews as well as direct observations were used. Besides the findings, the evaluation also provided actionable recommendations for the Red Noses International as well as the country offices.
