In November 2024, Roland Blomeyer, director of Blomeyer & Sanz, finished conducting the final evaluation of the OSCE Extra-budgetary Project ‘Young Developers and Entrepreneurs to Advance Start-ups’ (YDEAS II). The evaluation analysed the achievements of the YDEAS project and examined how the design and implementation of future projects could be improved.
The project was implemented by the Office of the Co-ordinator of OSCE Economic and Environmental Activities (OCEEA) and focused on topics of youth entrepreneurship and the social economy in the Western Balkans. The project’s goals included expanding opportunities for skills development and job creation, particularly in terms of socially-impactful and green start-ups, and improving the employability of youth and women. Participants in project activities, including the target group of young entrepreneurs, hailed from Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Montenegro, North Macedonia, and Serbia.
