In June 2022 Blomeyer & Sanz was contracted by the Financial Mechanism Office of the EEA and Norway Grants (FMO) to carry out the midterm evaluation of its green programmes in Bulgaria, Czechia, Croatia, Cyprus, Estonia, Greece, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, and Slovenia. The main focus of this evaluation are the programme areas that fall under the priority sector ‘Environment, Energy, Climate Change and Low Carbon Economy’. The main purpose of the assignment is to explore the coherence, efficiency, and potential effectiveness of green programming under the EEA and Norway Grants with a view to identifying success factors and obstacles and providing recommendations to potentially inform the next programming period.
