BLOMEYER & SANZ PRODUCED A FACTSHEET ON THE SOCIAL CARE AND SUPPORT SERVICES SECTOR FOR PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES IN THE CZECH REPUBLIC

In coordination with the Policy Impact Lab, Blomeyer & Sanz conducted a research study on the social care and services available for people with disabilities in the Czech Republic. The study was part of a series of 28 country factsheets available on the website of the European Association of Service Providers for persons with Disabilities (EASPD).

The factsheet presents the state of play of the social care and services in different life-course stages of disabled people, i.e. early childhood intervention, support in education and employment, day care, living support, long-term institutional care and respite care and leisure as well as social-life support. Each of these sub-groups provides information on the nature of social services providers, their financing and governance, as well as target groups in terms of age and type of disability.
