BLOMEYER & SANZ CONDUCTS AN ANALYTICAL STUDY ON “HOW EU FUNDS TACKLE ECONOMIC DIVIDE IN THE EUROPEAN UNION” COMMISSIONED BY THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT

Blomeyer & Sanz is partnering with the Austrian Institute of Economic Research (WIFO) and the Vienna Institute for International Economic Studies (wiiw) to conduct an analytical study on “How EU funds tackle economic divide in the European Union”. To this end, Blomeyer & Sanz and a representative from the wiiw attended a kick-off meeting with the officials from the European Parliament’s Directorate for Budgetary Affairs at the premises of the European Parliament in Brussels.

The study aims to provide data and related analysis on the topic of operating budgetary balance, its failures and limitations and to deliver evidence of the positive outcomes that Member States experience from belonging to the EU, notwithstanding the status of their operating budget balance.
