Blomeyer & Sanz is partnering with Paul Dalton from the Nordic

Consulting Group and independent consultant Deniz Devrim to produce a

report on laws that discriminate against women for the European

Parliament’s Subcommittee on Human Rights.

Legal gaps and discriminatory laws persist to exist in all areas of

women’s lives around the world. Legislative progress aimed at tackling

gender discrimination has been made and in order to strengthen our

efforts it is necessary to investigate what factors contribute to

positive change.

Ambitious in its scope, the study will provide an overview of

discriminatory laws in countries outside the EU and assess tools for

bringing about legislative change. Further, the researchers will present

the Subcommittee with recommendations going forward.
