Blomeyer & Sanz participated at the 2nd Catalan Congress on Energy Poverty. The event gathered more than 90 speakers and around 450 attendees that came from places as diverse as EU institutions, local municipalities, private energy companies or global and local NGO’s. The Congress approached energy poverty from different angles: health, energy, social services, housing, or gender perspective, among others. During the event, Blomeyer & Sanz presented and discussed the findings of the study on ‘Gender perspective on access to energy in the EU’, carried out for the European Parliament Committee on Women’s Rights and Gender Equality in cooperation with experts from the University of Twente.
