Blomeyer & Sanz attended a meeting on evaluation criteria

Blomeyer & Sanz attended a meeting organised by the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation to discuss how the DAC Evaluation Criteria could be adapted to the new development landscape and the 2030 Agenda. The meeting was organised in the context of a broader debate about the future of development evaluation. Indeed, a discussion has begun on re-thinking the five DAC evaluation criteria of relevance, effectiveness, efficiency, impact and sustainability. Furthermore, the meeting was an opportunity to debate about the introduction of the new evaluation criterium of coherence, as well as on how evaluations policies are currently dealing with equity, gender and human rights issues.
