Blomeyer & Sanz has evaluated the Neighbourhood Partnerships between the Council of Europe and Morocco and Tunisia. The Neighbourhood Partnerships with the two countries aim to support democratic reforms, in particular to ensure that Council of Europe standards are taken into account in its legislation, and to bring its institutions and practice further into line with European standards in the areas of human rights, the rule of law and democracy. The evaluation was conducted throughout the months February to September 2021, aiming to assess the performance of the two Partnerships and recommend ways forward for the future.
