Blomeyer & Sanz hosted its fifth annual team meeting in Sigüenza, Spain on 4 November 2025. All team members and a former colleague joined from Bratislava, Newcastle and Paris.

The team meeting focused on ‘meaningful growth’. The meeting began with a supportive tone of a roundtable in which each team member shared a proud moment from the previous year. One highlight was the multitude of evaluations in which feedback was received on its usefulness to the client, whether due to the final product itself or the process of producing it in which knowledge was generated and reflections stirred. It was then followed by presentations on topics including where we are now, where we hope to go in the future, a changing funding environment and emerging themes in evaluation, and how AI will affect the research and evaluation fields and how we can respond in an effective and ethical manner.

The valuable conversations begun in Sigüenza will continue in the shorter biweekly team meetings that are held in the office. We are grateful for all of the partners with whom we work, either on a long-term or project-basis, as they are integral to the human-centred services that we provide. We look forward to where the next few years take us as a firm, continuing our commitment to high quality and human rights-driven research and evaluation as we continue to grow professionally and personally.
