The project “Integration for Impact: INTERPOL and the G5 Sahel Joint Taskforce – Police Component” was launched in April 2019 and is being implemented by INTERPOL’s Counter-Terrorism Directorate (CT) for a period of three years. The project was designed to contribute to the G5 Sahel’s (G5S) mandate by strengthening the development and security in the five member countries (Burkina Faso, Chad, Mali, Mauritania and Niger) through the use of INTERPOL’s policing capabilities to combat terrorism.
