In cooperation with Policy Impact Lab, Blomeyer & Sanz has contributed to a research study on ‘Current and future use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in social care for persons with disabilities’ commissioned by the European Association of Service Providers for Persons with Disabilities (EASPD).

The report provides a comprehensive analysis of the current state, challenges, and opportunities associated with the implementation of AI tools in social care and support services for individuals with disabilities. It explores key barriers to adoption, including ethical concerns, accessibility issues, and the need for regulatory frameworks, while also showcasing examples of successful AI-driven initiatives. Additionally, the paper offers practical recommendations to ensure the efficient, inclusive, and ethical integration of AI technologies, aiming to enhance the quality of care and support for persons with disabilities.
