Antonio Sanz has an academic background in Information and Communication Technology (MSc University of Salamanca) and business (MBA University of Cambridge). Following a career as a Software Engineer in the private sector, Antonio then moved to business consultancy with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) Spain, then in 2010, as Senior Project Manager for Blomeyer & Sanz, and as an external Associate since 2018.
He has 15 years of professional consulting experience, the last 8 years focused on managing and delivering research studies and evaluations of EU policies, programmes and projects (ERDF/CF, ESF) for the European Parliament, European Commission, EU Agencies, NGOs, and the Council of Europe. Antonio’s current focus lies in the use of ICT to improve the work of EU institutions, and most in particular in the area of Data Science as a key driver for our economy and society.
Antonio is a Spanish native speaker and is fluent in English. He has also good working knowledge of French and basic command of Italian.
